Internet service providers are businesses that
provides access to the broadband Internet for businesses or for home internet.
Their services are available to either individuals or companies, and include a
dial-in interface with the Internet or an always on ADSL broadband internet
connection. The key internet providers in Australia include Optus (which offers
Optus Internet and Optus Broadband or Optus ADSL/ Optus Cable Internet) and
Telstra BigPond (who offer Bigpond Dial up, Bigpond Broadband ADSL / Bigpond
Cable Internet Broadbandand). It's a growth business, and, as
a result, pricing is a highly competitive, so shop around. There are some cheap
internet service companies out there, but be careful who you choose; as
sometimes the cheap broadband option isnt always the best solution. You
need to check the internet plans very carefuly to be sure that you are getting
what you believe you are paying for with your internet service provider - and
not overpaying when you get your bill. Broadband companies are the key one's to
look at closely before choosing your plan that you may get locked into with a
contract.
